The relay protest is drawing more and more sympathy from the peoples of San Francisco Bay Area. The number of protesters and veracity of the slogans are gaining momentum each day. “China Go Home,” shouted a senior Tibetan activist.

Geary Street is known as the artery of San Francisco City traffic with tons of cars going both ways. The Chinese Consulate is just at in front of the Street where any protest is widely heard by every driver that passes by.

BERKELEY - Advocates for Tibet, which has been under Chinese domination for decades, will bring their cause to the attention of Bay Area residents this week in a series of protests and events in Berkeley and San Francisco, culminating with a rally at the Chinese Consulate in San Francisco and a candlelight vigil in the city's Union Square.

March 5th, Monday, marked the first day of “Countdown to March 10th”, a weeklong protest in front of the Chinese Consulate in San Francisco. “China must learn from history,” shouted one of the slogan-leader with a bullhorn, and within no time all the protesters
