DHONDUP DORJEE LA'S TALK ON THE CUREENT NEED FOR THE TIBETAN YOUTH’S INVOLVEMENT FOR TIBET

 SFRTYC organized an event for TYC CENTREX Vice President Dhondup Dorjee la to speak directly to the Tibetan Youth in Exile and emphasize on the need for the youth’s involvement in the Tibetan movement. Dhondhup la spoke for nearly three hours on the relationship between the need for education among the Tibetan Youth and the need to relate the studied skills to the Tibetan movement. Many community members raised questions on the basis of TYC’s mission for the Tibetan movement in achieving full freedom “Rangzen” which Dhondup la answered by saying “Self- Determination or Rangzen… Either way... you must be in pursuit of “Freedom” in the Tibetan struggle”. Of the many issues discussed this day, many took a keen interest in Dhondup la’s views on why the Tibetan Youth should also work with the older generation in learning the Tibetan history prior to Tibet’s invasion and respect the elders in the community while enhancing ways in sharing information amongst each other.
