San Francisco Regional Tibetan Youth Congress hosted it's 2009 Youth Basketball Tournaments at the Albany Middle School courts in Albany on October 3rd, 2009.

The game wenton for hours but the excitement was still on through out the whole day!  More then seven teams particpated representing the cities they currently reside in.

Participants were from the age range of as young as 16 and and youthful as 32. The final game was between the two major cities currently holding many Tibetans.

Albany and Bekerley were the last ones standing and eventually by only a few points, Albany won the tournament and took home thetrophy for the night!

San Francisco Tibetan Youth Congress holds the Youth Sports Tournamemnt every year in hopes of gathering the young Tibetans within our community together and sharing not only the love of sport but also the love of community building with old and new relationships.

Congratulations to the young Albany basketball team for winning the 2009 Youth Basketball Tournament. We hope to see you all back here again next year for another round of Basket ball!
